It is the process where fibers are converted into yarn, then fabrics, which undergo finishing processes such as bleaching to become textiles. We convert these fibers by passing through certain processes like Blow room, Carding, Drawing, Combing, Simplex, Ring Frame and finally winding into yarns. These yarns are then wound onto the cones.

pk10Dyeing is a method which imparts beauty to the textile by applying various colors and their shades on to a fabric. Dyeing can be done at any stage of the manufacturing of textile- fiber, yarn, fabric or a finished textile product including garments and apparels. The property of color fastness depends upon two factors- selection of proper dye according to the textile material to be dyed and selection of the method for dyeing the fiber, yarn or fabric.

Dyes are used for coloring the fabrics. Dyes are molecules which absorb and reflect light at specific wavelengths to give human eyes the sense of color. There are two major types of dyes - natural and synthetic dyes. The natural dyes are extracted from natural substances such as plants, animals, or minerals. Synthetic dyes are made in a laboratory. Chemicals are synthesized for making synthetic dyes. Some of the synthetic dyes contain metals too.

Natural Dyes & Synthetic Dyes

Direct Printing is the most common approach to apply a color pattern onto a fabric. If done on colored fabric, it is known as overprinting. The desired pattern is produced by pressing dye on the fabric in a paste form. To prepare the print paste, a thickening agent is added to a limited amount of water and dye is dissolved in it. Earlier starch was preferred as a thickening agent for printing. Nowadays gums or alginates derived from seaweed are preferred as they allow better penetration of color and are easier to wash out. Most pigment printing is done without thickeners because the mixing up of resins, solvents and water produces thickening anyway. Synthetic dyes are classified based upon their chemical composition and the method of their application in the dyeing process.

pk10We always recommend that samples should be produced for final approval of the Design and check the quality of the Carpet and these take approximately 3 - 4 weeks. We have a vast collection of samples in our production unit.

Weaving is a method of textile production of fabric by interlacing two sets of yarns so that they cross each other, normally at right angles, usually accomplished with a hand- or power-operated loom. Similar methods are knitting, felting, and braiding or plaiting. In weaving, lengthwise yarns are called warp; crosswise yarns are called weft, or filling. Most woven fabrics are made with their outer edges finished in a manner that avoids raveling; these are called selvages. They run lengthwise, parallel to the warp yarns. The three basic weaves are plain, twill, and satin. Fancy weaves—such as pile, Jacquard, dobby, and leno—require more complicated looms or special loom attachments for their construction.

Washing the carpets is being recognized as the healthier way of handling the carpets. It also enhances the quality, softness and shine of the carpet providing it the pleasing visual effect and increasing its longevity.

The manufacture of a custom rug or carpet depends very much on the complexity of the design and the amount of colors, but on an average the production time is 8-12 weeks.

The packing of each carpet or rug is as per the instruction of the Customer however in general it is packed with stretch film and white polythene or jute sheet.
